PayPal QR Code

Your link. Your design.

PayPal QR Code

Made from your picture, not pasted on top

A PayPal QR code opens your own PayPal.Me link, so a customer can pay you in PayPal without typing your name or email. AriaQR makes it from your logo or a picture, so the code on the counter or the invoice looks like your brand rather than a plain square. The code only opens your link, the payment happens in PayPal and not with us, and every code is tested on real decoders under real-world conditions before you download it.

Where it goes

Where people use a PayPal QR code

Invoices and quotes

In the footer of a freelancer’s or agency’s invoice, so the client opens your PayPal link from the PDF or the printout.

Shop counters and market stalls

A sign at the till for customers who want to pay with PayPal. Keep a note beside it that says whose account it is.

Clubs, classes and events

On a sign-up sheet, a poster or a table at the door, for membership fees, class payments and ticket money.

Studios, tutors and tradespeople

On the business card or the van. A QR code for PayPal saves the customer typing your details after the job is done.

How it works

How to make a PayPal QR code with your logo

  1. 1

    Get your PayPal.Me link

Use your own PayPal.Me link, which looks like paypal.me/yourname. You can set it up in your PayPal account.

  2. 2

Upload your logo or a picture

Your logo, a product photo or the image from your sign. PNG, JPEG or WebP.

  3. 3

Paste the link, then scan it

The form opens on a website link. Paste your PayPal.Me address. Every code is tested before you see it; scan it with your phone and it should open your PayPal.Me page.

  4. 4

    Download and print

Download the full-size file. Choose small print for cards and stickers down to about 1.5 cm; standard works from 4 cm and up.

Design tips

Getting the design right

  • Check printed codes regularly

A code on a shop counter can be covered with a fake sticker that sends money to someone else. Scan your own sign now and then and make sure it still opens your PayPal link.

  • Print your name beside it

Add the name that will show in PayPal, so customers can check they are paying the right person before they confirm.

  • Size it for the counter

On a counter or table, 4 to 6 cm scans easily from a standing position. Keep the sign away from glare and under a clear cover so it cannot be peeled off.

Questions

PayPal QR code questions

How does a PayPal QR code work?

The code opens your own PayPal.Me link when someone scans it. The customer then pays inside PayPal. AriaQR does not take or handle any payment.

Where do I find my PayPal.Me link?

It is the address of your PayPal.Me page, such as paypal.me/yourname. You can create or check it in your PayPal account.

How do I stop someone swapping my payment code for a fake?

Check printed codes regularly, scan them yourself, and keep them behind a clear cover or in a holder that cannot be peeled off. Print your name beside the code so customers can check it before paying.

Can I put my logo on a PayPal QR code?

Yes, and more than a logo in the middle: AriaQR turns the whole picture into the code. Upload your logo or a photo, paste your PayPal.Me link, and you get a branded code that is tested before download.

Where can I get a plain PayPal QR code for free?

Our free PayPal QR code generator makes a standard black-and-white code at no cost. This page is for a code made from your logo or picture.
