Yelp QR Code

Made from your picture, not pasted on top

A Yelp QR code opens your business page on Yelp, with your photos, hours, menu and what other people have written, in one scan. AriaQR makes it from your logo or a picture, so the sign by the door looks like your restaurant or salon and not a stock square. The code is dynamic: you can change the link after printing, scans are counted, and every code is tested on real decoders under real-world conditions before you download it.

Where it goes

Where people use a Yelp QR code

Restaurant and bar windows

A sticker on the glass so people walking past can see your photos, menu and hours on Yelp before they decide to come in.

Salons, clinics and studios

On the reception desk or the appointment card, so new clients can look at your Yelp page, your hours and your location.

Shops and dealerships

On a counter stand or a flyer. A QR code for Yelp gives a first-time visitor one place to see the shop, its photos and its address.

Menus, receipts and takeaway bags

A small code at the bottom of the receipt or on the bag, for customers who want to find you again.

How it works

How to make a Yelp QR code with your logo

  1. 1

    Copy your Yelp page link

Open your business page on Yelp and copy its web address from the browser bar, or use the share option in the Yelp app.

  2. 2

Upload your logo or a picture

Your logo, a photo of the shopfront or a signature dish. PNG, JPEG or WebP.

  3. 3

Paste the link, then scan it

The form opens on a website link. Paste your Yelp address. Every code is tested before you see it; scan it with your phone and it should open your Yelp page.

  4. 4

    Download and print

Download the full-size file. Choose small print for receipts and stickers down to about 1.5 cm; standard works from 4 cm and up.

Design tips

Getting the design right

  • Invite, do not ask for stars

Yelp discourages businesses from asking customers for reviews. Print “Find us on Yelp” rather than a request for a rating, and let people decide for themselves.

  • Keep your Yelp page up to date

The code is only as good as the page behind it. Check the photos, opening hours and phone number before the signs go up.

  • Put it where people wait

A window, a waiting-area table or the till are good spots. People have a moment to scan there, and a code of 4 to 6 cm is easy to read.

Questions

Yelp QR code questions

How does a Yelp QR code work?

The code opens the web address of your Yelp business page when someone scans it with their phone camera. If they have the Yelp app, their phone may offer to open it there.

Where do I find my Yelp page link?

Open your business page on Yelp in a browser and copy the address from the address bar. You can also use the share option in the Yelp app.

Can I ask customers for reviews with this code?

Yelp discourages businesses from asking customers to write reviews, so we suggest wording such as “Find us on Yelp” instead of asking for stars. Check Yelp’s current guidelines for businesses before you print.

Can I put my logo on a Yelp QR code?

Yes, and more than a logo in the middle: AriaQR turns the whole picture into the code. Upload your logo or a photo, paste your Yelp link, and you get a branded code that is tested before download.

Where can I get a plain Yelp QR code for free?

Our free Yelp QR code generator makes a standard black-and-white code at no cost. This page is for a code made from your logo or picture.
