Business Card QR Code

Made from your picture, not pasted on top

A business card QR code opens your contact card, with name, company, role, phone, email and website, and lets people save it straight to their contacts. AriaQR makes the code from your logo or a picture, so it belongs on the card instead of sitting in a corner as a black square. The card is dynamic: you can edit the details after the cards are printed, and every code is tested on real decoders under real-world conditions before you download it.

Where it goes

Where people use a Business card QR code

Printed business cards

On the back of the card, so the front stays clean. Someone you met at a conference scans it and has your details in seconds.

Real estate agents and sales teams

On cards, yard signs and open-house handouts. A buyer saves your number while they are standing in the hallway.

Email signatures and name badges

On a badge at a trade show, or in an email footer, so people can save you without retyping anything.

Studios, clinics and agencies

One code per person on the staff cards, each opening that person’s own contact card with the firm’s logo.

How it works

How to make a Business card QR code with your logo

  1. 1

Upload your logo or a picture

Your logo, a portrait or a brand image. PNG, JPEG or WebP.

  2. 2

    Fill in your contact details

The form opens on Contact card. Add name, company, role, phone, email and website. These appear on a hosted contact card with a save-to-contacts option.

  3. 3

Check the verdict, then scan it

Every code is tested before you see it. Scan it with your phone: it should open your contact card and offer to save it.

  4. 4

    Download and print

Download the full-size file. Choose small print for the back of a standard card, down to about 1.5 cm; standard works from 4 cm and up.

Design tips

Getting the design right

  • Use the space on the back

The front is for your name and role. Put the code alone on the back with a line such as “Scan to save my contact”, and it will be used.

  • Keep the code at 2 cm or more on a card

A standard card is 8.5 by 5.5 cm. A code around 2.5 to 3 cm leaves room for a line of text and scans easily across a table.

  • Print on matte stock

Glossy cards catch the light and can make a code harder to scan under bright office or event lighting. Matte or uncoated paper is safer.

Questions

Business card QR code questions

How does a business card QR code work?

The code opens a hosted contact card with your name, company, role, phone, email and website. A visitor taps to save it to their phone contacts.

Can I change my details after the cards are printed?

Yes. The contact card is dynamic, so a new phone number, a new role or a new website can be edited without reprinting the cards.

Can I put my logo on a business card QR code?

Yes, and more than a logo in the middle: AriaQR turns the whole picture into the code. Upload your logo or a photo, add your details, and you get a branded vCard code that is tested before download.

Does everyone in my team need a separate code?

It is best if they do. Each person gets a contact card with their own details, and you can use the same logo or picture so the cards match.

Where can I get a plain vCard QR code for free?

Our free vCard QR code generator makes a standard black-and-white code at no cost. This page is for a code made from your logo or picture.
