Short links
people trust.

A short link is only useful while people are willing to open it. So scams are kept off aqr.li, and the checks keep running after the link is made.

  1. 01 · When it is madeChecked before it goes liveEvery destination is checked against Google Safe Browsing when the link is made and whenever it changes.
  2. 02 · Every dayChecked againA page can turn bad after the link was made, so live links are re-checked daily. A flagged link stops redirecting.
  3. 03 · AlwaysNo hidden hopsA short link cannot point at another short link or redirect, so people land where the link says.
  4. 04 · AlwaysA real account behind itNo anonymous links, and limits on how many links an account or a network can make in an hour.
  5. 05 · When reportedA warning comes firstAnyone can report a link. Three reports put a warning in front of it, naming the destination, until a person reviews it.
  6. 06 · If it is harmfulBlocked for goodA harmful link never opens again. Visitors see a notice instead of the page.

Need a code instead? Make a free QR code with analytics, or an art code from your own image.

Is the AriaQR URL shortener free?+

Yes. A free account keeps up to 10 short links with full click analytics. Each link lives for a year and renews free with one click from the reminder email. No card, no ads on the way to your page.

Why do I need to sign in?+

There are no anonymous links. Having a real account behind every link is the first defence against spam and scams, and it is where the renewal reminder goes. Sign in with an email code or Google; there is no password to make.

What click analytics do I get?+

Clicks over time, unique visitors counted without cookies, countries and cities from the network, devices, operating systems and browsers, in-app browsers such as Instagram or WhatsApp, the busiest hours, and a CSV export of every click.

Can I pick my own short link name?+

Yes, on every account, free included. Type a name such as aqr.li/summer: 4 to 16 letters and numbers. Leave it empty and you get six random characters. Names that are taken, reserved or look like another brand are refused.

Can I change where a short link goes?+

With a plan, yes, at any time. Free short links keep the destination they were made with, so a link someone already trusts cannot quietly start pointing somewhere else.

What happens after a year?+

We email you 30, 7 and 1 day before the year ends, with a one-click renewal. If nobody renews, the link pauses and shows a notice instead of redirecting; it can still be brought back for 30 days, then it is deleted.

Which links are not allowed?+

Addresses that Google Safe Browsing flags as phishing, malware or unwanted software, other short links and redirects (so the real destination is never hidden twice), internal and IP addresses, and links with a password written into them. Every destination is checked when the link is made, when it is changed, and again every day.

What happens when a link is reported?+

Anyone can report a link, no account needed. When three different people report the same one, visitors see a warning that names the destination before they choose to continue, until a person has reviewed it. A harmful link is blocked for good.

Can I turn a short link into a QR code?+

Yes. One click makes a free classic QR code for the same destination, or make it an art code, where your photo or logo becomes the code itself, verified before download.
