It opens the same PayPal.Me page. PayPal's in-app code has a fixed look; this one is a standard QR code in your colors, as a vector for print.
Can I set the amount and currency?+
Yes. The link becomes paypal.me/name/amount followed by the currency code, like 25USD. The payer can still see and check it before sending.
Do I need a PayPal.Me link?+
Yes. Create one for free in the PayPal app or at paypal.me. The name you choose is the part after paypal.me/.
Does scanning the code take money?+
No. The code only asks for a payment. The payer's app shows who is being paid and how much, and nothing is sent until they confirm it in their own app.
Can I change the link or count scans later?+
