Dropbox QR Code

Your Dropbox link. Designed to scan.

Dropbox QR Code

Made from your picture, not pasted on top

A Dropbox QR code opens a file you have shared, such as a lookbook, a press kit, a contract pack or a set of photos, without anyone typing the link. AriaQR makes it from your logo or a picture, so the code on a card, a proof or a flyer looks like part of the piece. The code is dynamic: you can change the link after printing, scans are counted, and every code is tested on real decoders under real-world conditions before you download it.

Where it goes

Where people use a Dropbox QR code

Press kits and lookbooks

On a showroom card or a launch invitation, linking to the images and sheets journalists need.

Photographers and studios

On a proof sheet or a thank-you card, linking to the finished gallery for a client.

Agencies and consultants

On a printed proposal or a meeting handout, linking to the shared folder with the full documents.

Trade shows and stands

On a stand banner, linking to the product files, drawings or brochures visitors ask for.

How it works

How to make a Dropbox QR code with your logo

  1. 1

Create a shared link in Dropbox

Choose Share on the file, create a link and make sure anyone with the link can open it. Copy it.

  2. 2

Upload your logo or a picture

Your logo, a product photo or a cover image. PNG, JPEG or WebP.

  3. 3

Choose File and paste the link

Then check the verdict and scan the code with your phone: it should open the shared file.

  4. 4

    Download and print

Download the full-size file. Choose small print for cards and stickers down to about 1.5 cm; standard works from 4 cm and up.

Design tips

Getting the design right

  • Test on a phone that is not signed in

If the link needs a Dropbox account, visitors will be stopped at a sign-in page. Check it opens for someone outside your team.

  • Print what they will find

A short line such as “Scan for the full image set” sets the right expectation and gets more scans.

  • Link to the file, not the whole folder

For a single document, a direct file link opens faster on a phone than a large folder with many files. A QR code for Dropbox is best when it leads to one clear thing.

Questions

Dropbox QR code questions

How does a Dropbox QR code work?

The code opens your shared Dropbox link when someone scans it with the phone camera. They see the file in the browser or the Dropbox app.

Does the link need to be public?

The link has to open for the people who scan it. Use a shared link that works without signing in, and test it on a phone outside your team.

Can I change the link after printing the code?

Yes. The code is dynamic, so you can point it to a new Dropbox link without reprinting, and scans are counted.

Can I put my logo on a Dropbox QR code?

Yes, and more than a logo in the middle: AriaQR turns the whole picture into the code. Upload your logo or a photo, paste your Dropbox link, and you get a branded code that is tested before download.

Where can I get a plain Dropbox QR code for free?

Our free Dropbox QR code generator makes a standard black-and-white code at no cost. This page is for a code made from your logo or picture.
