Google Drive QR Code

Your Drive file. Shared by scan.

Google Drive QR Code

Made from your picture, not pasted on top

A Google Drive QR code opens a file you have shared, such as a brochure, a photo album, a form or a presentation, without anyone typing a long link. AriaQR makes it from your logo or a picture, so the code on a flyer, a handout or a slide looks designed. The code is dynamic: you can change the link after printing, scans are counted, and every code is tested on real decoders under real-world conditions before you download it.

Where it goes

Where people use a Google Drive QR code

Presentations and handouts

Put the code on the last slide or the printed handout, so the audience gets the deck or the notes on their own phone.

Client and onboarding packs

Agencies, clinics and advisers can print one code on a welcome card that opens the forms and guides a new client needs.

Photo and event albums

On a table card or a thank-you note, linking to the photos from the day.

Teams and training rooms

On a wall or a binder, linking to the current rota, checklist or training document.

How it works

How to make a Google Drive QR code with your logo

  1. 1

Share the file in Google Drive

Open the file, choose Share, and set General access to “Anyone with the link”. Copy the link.

  2. 2

Upload your logo or a picture

Your logo, a photo or the cover of the document. PNG, JPEG or WebP.

  3. 3

Choose File and paste the link

Then check the verdict and scan the code with your phone: it should open the file without asking you to sign in.

  4. 4

    Download and print

Download the full-size file. Choose small print for cards and stickers down to about 1.5 cm; standard works from 4 cm and up.

Design tips

Getting the design right

  • Set sharing to “Anyone with the link”

If the file is private, people who scan are asked to request access. Test the code on a phone that is not signed in to your Google account.

  • Label what is behind it

Print “Scan for the slides” or “Scan for the photos”. A QR code for Google Drive with no label gives people no reason to scan.

  • Keep the file where it is

Moving or deleting the file breaks the link. If you need to replace it, change the link behind the code instead of reprinting.

Questions

Google Drive QR code questions

How does a Google Drive QR code work?

The code opens the link to your shared Drive file when someone scans it. They see the file in the browser or the Drive app on their phone.

Why does my code ask people to request access?

The file is not shared with everyone who has the link. In Drive, choose Share, then set General access to “Anyone with the link” and try the code again.

Can I change the file after printing the code?

Yes. The code is dynamic, so you can point it to a new Drive link without reprinting, and scans are counted.

Can I put my logo on a Google Drive QR code?

Yes, and more than a logo in the middle: AriaQR turns the whole picture into the code. Upload your logo or a photo, paste your Drive link, and you get a branded Drive code that is tested before download.
