The deal, in plain words.

AriaQR turns an image and a destination into a QR code, tests that the code scans, and hosts a short link that redirects scans to your destination, with analytics. Picture codes are paid, singly or on a plan. Classic black-and-white codes are free.

It also runs a link shortener on aqr.li, landing pages behind your codes (with the quarter plan or the Business plan), shared team workspaces, a REST API and an MCP server for your own tools and AI assistants, a Canva app, and free QR tools at /tools.

An account is one email address. You sign in with Google or with a code we email you, so keep control of that inbox: whoever can read it can sign in. You are responsible for what is done from your account. You can delete it at any time from your account page; that permanently deletes its codes (printed ones stop working), short links, landing pages and analytics, forfeits unused plan time and activations without refund, and keeps only the invoices and abuse reports the law or safety requires us to keep. The privacy policy lists exactly what goes.

A picture code made without an account is controlled by its private link, shown once when the code is made. Anyone who holds that link can edit the code and see its analytics, so treat it like a password. If you lose it, “Find my code” can list the codes bought with your email.

You keep every right to the images you upload, the codes made from them, and the words and photos on your landing pages. You give us only the licence needed to process, store, render, host and deliver them, and to show your public pages and hosted contact cards to the people who open them. You confirm you have the right to use what you upload and publish. We never use your images to train models or to promote AriaQR without asking you.

You are responsible for your destinations, your page content and anything you host with us, and for following the laws that apply to them, including towards the people who scan your codes or visit your pages.

The optional image enhancement uses a third-party AI image model to clean up an image before it becomes a code, and the landing-page designer uses a third-party AI model to suggest a layout, words, colours and fonts. Results vary and can be wrong or alter details, including faces. Nothing is applied without you choosing it; check what the AI wrote before you publish it, and you are responsible for that choice. AI features are provided as they are, have daily limits, and may be unavailable at times.

Do not use AriaQR for phishing, malware, scams, impersonation, illegal content, spam, or anything that deceives or harms the people who scan your codes or open your links and pages. The full rules, how we check links, and what happens to a link that breaks them are in the acceptable use policy, which is part of these terms. We may refuse, warn on, disable or remove a code, short link, page or account that breaks them.

A single picture code is a one-time purchase, paid through Razorpay in rupees or PayPal in dollars at the price shown when the code was generated. Activation makes its link live and unlocks the full-resolution master the moment the payment is confirmed. Because you can generate, scan and restyle the code for free before paying, purchases are final once activated, with the exceptions set out in the refund policy. The code stays live for as long as AriaQR runs, with an editable destination and analytics, and there is nothing further to pay for it.

The plan renews every three months through the provider you subscribed with and includes 45 activations per quarter, which do not roll over, read-only access to the API and MCP server (listing codes and pages and reading their stats and leads), and publishing up to 5 new landing pages per quarter (republishing a page that is already live does not count; the allowance starts again when the plan renews and does not roll over). AI page designs are included, up to 20 in any 30 days. Lead forms, subdomains, teams, bulk upload, and creating or changing codes and pages through the API or MCP server are not part of the quarter plan. A quarter plan first taken before 16 October 2026 keeps teams, bulk upload, full API and MCP access, 10 placements per code and 1,000 short links for as long as it stays active. The price is the one shown when you subscribed, for as long as the subscription runs without a break; launch pricing ends on the date shown on the pricing page. You can cancel at any time from your account; the plan then ends at the close of the current quarter and nothing is charged again. A cancellation can be undone from the account page until shortly before the quarter ends. Codes activated on a plan keep scanning after it ends; editing, analytics and new activations pause until you renew, and published landing pages go offline (their drafts stay on your account). We email you before each renewal. A quarter already started is not refunded except as set out in the refund policy.

The Business plan is for companies. You can subscribe on the pricing page: it is charged monthly or yearly, in advance, through the provider you pay with (Razorpay in India, PayPal elsewhere), and it switches on when the first payment goes through. The yearly price is ten months of the monthly price for twelve months, with the same monthly allowances; we email you 30 days and 7 days before a yearly renewal, with the amount. Moving from monthly to yearly starts the year when the yearly payment goes through; the monthly subscription then stops renewing, and the month already paid is not refunded. If your company needs an invoice to pay against instead, you can set it up with us through the business contact form and we switch it on for your account. Subscribing to Business while a quarter plan runs stops the quarter plan from renewing; it is not refunded, and its activations stay usable until its quarter ends. Business includes everything in the quarter plan, 100 activations a month (the allowance starts again on the first of each month and does not roll over), publishing up to 100 new landing pages a month (republishing a page that is already live does not count; this allowance also starts again on the first of each month), lead forms with a Leads inbox, subdomains, teams, bulk upload, creating and changing codes and pages through the API and MCP server, and up to 100 AI page designs in any 30 days. You can cancel at any time from your billing page (or by telling us, for an invoiced plan); the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month or year already paid, and part periods are not refunded. If a renewal payment fails, the plan ends a day after the paid period unless the payment goes through. If we fail to deliver the service in a month, as described in the refund policy, that month is refunded (on a yearly plan, a twelfth of the yearly price). When the plan ends, your published landing pages go offline and their drafts stay on your account; codes you activated keep scanning.

Prices are shown in Indian rupees or US dollars depending on where you are, and you can switch on the pricing page. Rupee prices include GST at 18%; dollar prices are exports of services with no GST. Every payment gets a numbered invoice, emailed to you and available on your account page, with any billing details you have entered printed on it. Promotional codes are offered at our discretion, may be limited in number, time, currency or product, and can be withdrawn; a code cannot be exchanged for money.

Free codes are up to ten live codes per account, each live for a year from its last renewal; a plan lifts the cap. We remind you before the year ends, and one click renews it for free. A code nobody renews pauses, and is deleted a month later. Free codes with an editable link need a signed-in account.

Short links on aqr.li need a signed-in account. A free account can keep 10 at a time, each live for a year and renewed for free the same way as free codes; a plan raises the limit, and short links made on a plan have no yearly expiry. Anyone can pick a custom name, but we refuse names that are reserved, taken, or look like another brand or a sign-in page. A free short link keeps the destination it was made with; on a plan you can change it. Creating links is rate-limited.

A short link must point at the page people finally land on, not at another shortener or redirect, and not at an IP address. When you delete one, its name stays reserved for you for 60 days; a name that was blocked for abuse is never given out again, and a link under review cannot be deleted until the review is done.

Anyone signed in can build and preview landing pages; publishing them needs the quarter plan or the Business plan. A published page is public on ariaqr.com, on aqr.li and, if you choose, on your own subdomain. Before a page goes live, every link on it passes the same safety check as a code’s destination, and a page with an unsafe or sample link is not published.

Your page is yours: you decide what it says and what it offers, and you are responsible for it, including any contact details, offers and claims on it, and towards its visitors under the data-protection and consumer laws that apply to you. We host the page and count visits for you without cookies, as described in the privacy policy.

Teams and bulk upload are part of the Business plan. A team owner can invite people by email to a shared workspace; an invite only takes effect when the invitee accepts it. Members see every code made in the team, and codes made in the team are activated on the team owner’s plan, so the owner is responsible for who they invite and what members do there. Bulk upload creates and activates codes on the plan in use, with the same checks as any other code.

We run the redirect service so that printed codes keep working. If we ever had to stop operating AriaQR, we would give at least ninety days’ notice by email to account holders and on the site, and we would publish a way to export your destinations. Short outages can happen; we do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

“Verified” means that before download your code was decoded by several independent barcode readers at print-like sizes and conditions. It is a strong test, not a guarantee against every camera, print process or lighting condition. Test a physical print before a large run; if a verified code fails on a standard phone camera, that is one of the cases covered by the refund policy.

API keys are for your own use and your own tools and work while a plan (quarter or Business) is active. On the quarter plan a key can only read (codes, stats, pages and leads); creating or changing anything through the API or MCP server needs Business. Keep them secret, along with any connector address that contains one. You are responsible for everything done with your keys, including activations they spend. Rate limits apply and may change. We may suspend keys that abuse the service or the plan.

If you connect an AI assistant to your account (Claude, ChatGPT or any other), it acts for you: within what your plan allows, it can create and manage codes, short links and landing pages, and spend your activations. You are responsible for what your connected assistant does with your key, as if you had done it yourself. Revoke the key from your account page to disconnect it.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for the content of destinations or pages you choose or publish, for what a connected AI assistant does with your key, or for losses caused by a code being printed without a physical test.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Hyderabad, Telangana. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, including your data protection rights. When you use AriaQR for a business, our data processing terms apply as part of these terms. If we change them, we update this page and the date above; material changes are announced by email to account holders.
