Event QR Code

Made from your picture, not pasted on top

An event QR code adds your event to the visitor’s calendar with the name, start and end time, location and details already filled in. AriaQR makes it from your logo or a picture, so the code on the invitation, the poster or the ticket looks like part of the design. The code is dynamic: you can change the details after printing, scans are counted, and every code is tested on real decoders under real-world conditions before you download it.

Where it goes

Where people use an Event QR code

Invitations and save-the-dates

On a wedding or party invitation, so guests put the date in their calendar the moment they read it.

Conferences and trade shows

On a flyer or ticket, adding the session or the whole event, with the venue address included.

Hotels, venues and restaurants

On a poster for a tasting evening, a live night or a seasonal offer, with the time and place built in.

Clinics, shops and clubs

On a leaflet for an open day, a class or a launch, so people do not forget the date.

How it works

How to make an Event QR code with your logo

  1. 1

Upload your logo or a picture

Your logo, a photo of the venue or the artwork from your invitation. PNG, JPEG or WebP.

  2. 2

Choose Calendar event and fill in the details

Add the name, start, end, location and any details. Guests see them when they add the event.

  3. 3

Check the verdict, then scan it

Every code is tested before you see it. Scan it with your phone: it should offer to add the event to your calendar.

  4. 4

    Download and print

Download the full-size file. Choose small print for tickets and cards down to about 1.5 cm; standard works from 4 cm and up.

Design tips

Getting the design right

  • Check the time zone and the date

Scan your own code and read the event in your calendar. A wrong start time on a printed run is expensive to fix.

  • Add the full address

Put the venue name and street address in the location, so the calendar entry can open directions later.

  • Print the date in words too

An event QR code works best beside a plain date and time on the invitation, for guests who just read it.

Questions

Event QR code questions

How does an event QR code work?

The code carries your event details. When someone scans it, their phone offers to add the event to the calendar with the name, time, place and details filled in.

Can I change the event details after printing?

Yes. The code is dynamic, so you can update the time, place or details without reprinting, and scans are counted. Anyone who already saved the event keeps the details they saved.

Can I put my logo on an event QR code?

Yes, and more than a logo in the middle: AriaQR turns the whole picture into the code. Upload your logo or a photo, add the event details, and you get a branded event code that is tested before download.

Can I add the venue address?

Yes. The form has a location field, and a full venue name and street address is best. Test the code on your own phone before you print a large run.

Where can I get a plain event QR code for free?

Our free calendar event QR code generator makes a standard black-and-white code at no cost. This page is for a code made from your logo or picture.
