Google Maps QR Code

Made from your picture, not pasted on top

A location QR code opens directions to your address in the maps app, so nobody has to type a street name or guess the entrance. AriaQR makes it from your logo or a picture, so the code on the invitation or the sign looks designed, not pasted on. The code is dynamic: you can change the place after printing, scans are counted, and every code is tested on real decoders under real-world conditions before you download it.

Where it goes

Where people use a Google Maps QR code

Event invitations and tickets

On a wedding invitation, a conference ticket or a venue flyer, so guests open directions to the right entrance.

Stores, clinics and showrooms

On a brochure, a business card or a shop-window sticker, so a new customer can find the door without searching.

Holiday rentals and hotels

In the booking email or the welcome card, with directions to the front door and the parking, not just the city.

Real estate viewings

On a flyer or an ad, so a buyer lands at the property, not at the street name that exists twice in the same town.

How it works

How to make a Google Maps QR code with your logo

  1. 1

Upload your logo or a picture

Your logo, a photo of the building or the venue. PNG, JPEG or WebP.

  2. 2

Choose Location and add the place

Type an address or a place name, or paste a Google Maps link to a precise pin. Scanning opens directions.

  3. 3

Check the verdict, then scan it

Every code is tested before you see it. Scan it with your phone: it should open the right spot on the map.

  4. 4

    Download and print

Download the full-size file. Choose small print for invitations and cards down to about 1.5 cm; standard works from 4 cm and up.

Design tips

Getting the design right

  • Pin the exact door

For a large site, paste a Google Maps link dropped on the right entrance or car park, not just the street address.

  • Print the address too

Keep the address in words beside the code. People without a phone to hand, or a poor signal, can still find you.

  • Test it from the street

Scan the printed copy once and follow the route. If the pin lands in the wrong place, fix the link before you print the rest.

Questions

Google Maps QR code questions

How does a location QR code work?

The code opens your address or pin in the maps app on the visitor’s phone, ready for directions. No app install or typing is needed.

Can I use a Google Maps link instead of an address?

Yes. Paste a Google Maps link to send people to an exact pin, such as a side entrance or a car park, or type an address or a place name.

Can I change the place after printing?

Yes. A location code from AriaQR is dynamic, so if you move or change the meeting point you can update it without reprinting, and scans are counted.

Can I put my logo on a location QR code?

Yes, and more than a logo in the middle: AriaQR turns the whole picture into the code. Upload your logo or a photo, add the place, and you get a branded map code that is tested before download.
