PDF QR Code

Made from your picture, not pasted on top

A PDF QR code opens your brochure, manual, price list or spec sheet on the visitor’s phone, with no web address to type. AriaQR makes it from your logo or a picture, so the code on the printed page looks like part of the design instead of a stray black square. The code is dynamic: you can swap the PDF behind it after printing, scans are counted, and every code is tested on real decoders under real-world conditions before you download it.

Where it goes

Where people use a PDF QR code

Brochures and catalogues

Print a short brochure and let the code open the full catalogue or price list, so the printed piece stays light and the details stay current.

Manuals and spec sheets

On a product, a box or a trade-show stand. The buyer scans and gets the manual or data sheet for exactly that product.

Property and listing packs

On a For Sale sign or a flyer, linking to the full floor plans and details for that one property.

Menus, programmes and forms

On an event programme, a wine list or a clinic leaflet that points to the current version of the document.

How it works

How to make a PDF QR code with your logo

  1. 1

Upload your logo or a picture

Your logo, a product photo or the cover of the document. PNG, JPEG or WebP.

  2. 2

Choose File and paste the link to your PDF

Use a link to a PDF that anyone can open: a shared Google Drive or Dropbox link, or a file on your own website.

  3. 3

Check the verdict, then scan it

Every code is tested before you see it. Point your phone at the screen: it should open your PDF.

  4. 4

    Download and print

Download the full-size file. Choose small print for labels and stickers down to about 1.5 cm; standard works from 4 cm and up.

Design tips

Getting the design right

  • Make the PDF phone-friendly

Most people will read it on a small screen. Use large text, short pages and a file that opens quickly rather than a heavy print-ready file.

  • Say what is inside

A line such as “Scan for the full price list” tells people what they will get. A QR code for a PDF with no label is scanned far less.

  • Keep the link stable

Because the code is dynamic, you can point it to a new file later. Keep the old file available until the printed copies are out of circulation.

Questions

PDF QR code questions

How does a PDF QR code work?

The code opens the link to your PDF when someone scans it with the phone camera. No app is needed, and the file opens in the phone’s browser or viewer.

Where does the PDF need to be?

AriaQR links to a PDF you already host: a shared Google Drive or Dropbox link, or a file on your own site. Paste the link into the form.

Can I change the PDF after printing the code?

Yes. The code is dynamic, so you can point it to a new file or link without reprinting. A new price list or a corrected manual works behind the same printed code, and scans are counted.

Can I put my logo on a PDF QR code?

Yes, and more than a logo in the middle: AriaQR turns the whole picture into the code. Upload your logo or a photo, add your PDF link, and you get a branded PDF code that is tested before download.

Where can I get a plain PDF QR code for free?

Our free PDF QR code generator makes a standard black-and-white code at no cost. This page is for a code made from your logo or picture.
