Questions
How does the QR code tester work?+
It decodes your image with the same decoders phones use, then re-runs it under harder conditions: smaller, blurred, tilted and in low light. If it survives all of them you get a solid verdict; if only some, fragile; if none, it fails.
Can I test a printed QR code?+
Yes. Take a straight photo in good light and upload it. Photos of prints are the most honest test because they include the paper, the ink and the camera.
Does the tester keep my image?+
No. The file is processed in memory for the check and discarded. Nothing is stored or linked to you.
My code failed. What now?+
The page lists the likely reasons: low contrast, a busy margin, a small export or a stretched image. Fix those and test again, or make a verified code with AriaQR, which runs these tests before it lets you download.
Is this different from scanning it with my phone?+
Your phone scanning it once on a bright screen proves very little. Print is smaller, darker and further away. The tester simulates that instead of hoping.
