Can a 3D-printed QR code really be scanned?
Yes, if the two colors contrast. Print the raised modules in a dark color on a light base, or swap filament at the right layer, and scan it straight from above.
How big does a LEGO or Minecraft QR code need to be?
One brick or block per module, plus a margin. A short link makes a code of 21 to 25 modules a side, which is a comfortable build.
Why does my art code need a quiet zone?
Scanners find a code by its three corner squares and the clear space around them. Keep a plain margin of a few modules around any build.
Can I turn my own photo into a scannable code?
