How does a Wi-Fi QR code work?
It stores the network name, the security type and the password in a standard format. The phone camera recognizes it and offers to join the network.
Is my Wi-Fi password stored anywhere?
The Wi-Fi code is made in your browser, so the password is never sent to us. It is written into the code, though, so anyone who can scan it can read it. Use a guest network for public places.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The built-in camera on iPhone and on current Android phones reads Wi-Fi codes without an extra app.
What if I change the Wi-Fi password?
The code keeps the old password and will stop working. Make a new code after the change and replace the printed one.
