Questions
Does the code include the passcode?+
If you paste the invite link, yes: Zoom puts an encoded passcode in the link after pwd=, and the code keeps it. With only the meeting ID, people are asked to type the passcode.
Why is the start link refused?+
The start link (zoom.us/s/…) lets anyone start the meeting as the host. The generator asks for the join link instead.
Does it work without the Zoom app?+
Yes. Zoom offers to open the app, or to join from the browser.
Will the code work for the next meeting?+
Recurring meetings and your personal meeting room keep the same link, so the printed code keeps working. A one-off meeting's link ends with the meeting.
Can I change the link or count scans later?+
