How do I get the coordinates of a spot?+
In Google Maps or Apple Maps, press and hold the spot (right-click on a computer). The coordinates appear; copy them and paste them here.
Which format should I choose?+
Google Maps works on every phone, in the app or the browser. Apple Maps suits an iPhone crowd. geo: opens the default maps app on many Android phones, but iPhone cameras ignore it.
Why can't I paste a maps.app.goo.gl link?+
Short links only reveal the place after a trip to Google, and this page does not go online. Open the link, then copy the full address from the browser bar, or the coordinates.
How precise is the pin?+
Coordinates are kept to six decimal places, about 10 cm. The phone's own GPS is the limit when people navigate to it.
Can I change the link or count scans later?+
