Flow field QR code generator

Each dot is a stroke laid along a wavy current, so the whole code seems to flow diagonally in blue, teal and violet, like wind drawn across water. Generative art of this kind is usually made with code and a plotter. Here you only type a link.

Works well for

  • Design agency and studio portfolios
  • Tech event badges and programmes
  • Music festival and club posters
  • Architecture practice brochures

Printing tip

Keep the background plain white and print on a smooth stock; busy backgrounds behind the code fight with the flowing strokes.

Static or dynamic: a static code never expires but its link can't change. Pick Dynamic above (free with an account) to change the link after printing and count every scan.

Questions

Will a QR code made of flowing strokes still scan?+

Yes. The strokes are dark marks on a light background, the code uses the highest error correction level, and the design is tested with real QR code readers before publishing.

Is this the same every time I generate it?+

The look is consistent, but the strokes follow your link, so each link produces its own pattern of flow. Two different links will not be identical.

Can I use it commercially?+

Yes. It is free for personal and commercial use, with no watermark and no sign-up. Static codes never expire; dynamic, editable codes are available on AriaQR.

The next step

Make the code the artwork.

These tools make and check classic codes. AriaQR turns your photo, logo or illustration into the code itself, verified on real decoders before you download, with a link you can edit and track.
