Questions
Which link should I use?+
The one from Send, then the link tab. Tick Shorten URL for a forms.gle link, which makes the smallest code. An editor link is swapped for the respondent link, so nobody is asked for edit access.
Can the code fill in some answers?+
Yes. In the form menu, choose Get pre-filled link, fill in the answers, and paste the link. Use one code per table or location to see where answers came from.
Do people need a Google account?+
Only if the form collects verified email addresses, limits people to one response, or is restricted to your organization.
Can I stop taking responses?+
Yes. Turn off Accepting responses in the form, and people who scan see a closed message. Turn it back on and the same code works again.
Can I change the link or count scans later?+
