What number format should I use?+
Type the mobile number as you normally would, like 081 234 5678. The code stores it in the international form PromptPay expects.
Should I add an amount?+
For a fixed price, yes. Without an amount the payer types it, which suits a shop counter where every sale is different.
What does the payer see before paying?+
Their app looks up the PromptPay number and shows the account holder's name and the amount. They check it and confirm.
Is my ID number uploaded?+
No. The code is built in your browser and read back on your device to check it scans. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored.
