Will it open the app?+
On most phones, yes: if the app is installed, the profile link opens in it. If not, the profile opens in the browser.
Why clean up the link I pasted?+
Share links often carry tracking parameters that make the code denser. The generator keeps just the profile address, so the code is smaller and easier to scan.
Can I change the profile or count scans later?+
