Printing tip

Print on matte white stock rather than a shiny holographic sticker; the code should supply the colour and the paper should stay flat and plain. Keep at least 2 cm (0.8 in) of width.

Why it still scans

Questions

Will a rainbow QR code scan on every phone?+

The colours are all dark and saturated, and the code uses the highest error correction level. Every design is tested with real QR code readers, but still scan a printed proof on a couple of phones.

Can I print it on holographic foil?+

We would avoid it. Reflective foil changes brightness as it moves, which can wash out the dark marks. Print the code on matte stock instead.

Is the holographic look free to download?+

Yes. PNG and SVG are free with no watermark and no sign-up, and you can use them commercially. The code is static and never expires.
