Questions
Why add "Scan me" to a QR code?+
A plain code does not say what it is for. A short call to action such as "Scan for the menu" tells people what they get, which makes them more likely to scan and more likely to trust the code.
Can I use a QR code I already made?+
Yes. Upload the image and it is read on your device to confirm it is a QR code, then placed in the frame exactly as it is, with a clear margin added if it needs one. The image is never uploaded.
How small can the code be on a sticker?+
The tool keeps every code at least 2 cm wide on stickers, the smallest size a phone reads reliably at arm's length. Sheets that would push the code below that are not offered. Table tents keep it at 3 cm or more and posters at 5 cm or more.
How do I print and fold the table tent?+
Print the PDF at actual size on card, cut along the corner marks and fold on the dashed line. The top face is printed upside down so both faces stand the right way up once folded.
Will colored frames still scan?+
The frame sits outside the code's quiet zone, so any frame color is fine. The code itself needs dark squares on a light background: the tool warns when the contrast is too low and reads the preview back to check it decodes.
