This look prints well on cheap one-colour presses; use solid black ink on plain white paper and keep the code at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide.

Is a zebra QR code easier to scan than a colour one?+
It uses pure black on white, which is the strongest contrast possible, together with the highest error correction level. Every design is tested with real QR code readers before publishing.
Will the black frame cause problems?+
No. The frame sits outside the quiet zone, which keeps its light border, so cameras still find the code easily.
Can I print it in a newspaper or zine?+
