Domains
What is a subdomain?
1 min read·Updated October 27, 2026
Short answer
A subdomain is a name in front of a domain, like menu.example.com. On AriaQR your page can have its own, harborpine.aqr.li, and on Business your codes can use a subdomain of your own website, like go.harborpine.com.
harborpineYour page’s name.aqr.liOur short domain
aqr.liOur short domain/harborpineYour page’s name
go.harborpine.comYour own domain/menuThe page
The parts of an address
In harborpine.aqr.li, aqr.li is the domain and harborpine is the subdomain in front of it. In go.harborpine.com, harborpine.com is your domain and go is the subdomain you create for your codes.
Which one to use
- aqr.li/harborpine: every page has it. Short, and it fits any code.
- harborpine.aqr.li: your page’s own subdomain on Business. It looks like a site of its own.
- go.harborpine.com: your own domain on Business. People see your brand before they scan, and every code and page can use it.
Tip · Short is better for art codes: fewer characters make a cleaner code. 12 characters or fewer is ideal.
