How AriaQR works
Short answer
You upload a picture and choose what the code should open. AriaQR turns the picture itself into a QR code, checks that it scans, and gives it a short link you can change later. You only pay when you activate it.
The picture is the code
Most QR generators paste a logo on top of a black-and-white grid. AriaQR does the opposite: your photo, logo or artwork becomes the code. The picture stays recognisable, and phones still read it as a normal QR code.
What happens when you make one
- 1Upload a picture in the generator. One clear subject in the middle works best.
- 2Choose what it opens: a website, Wi-Fi, a contact card, a menu, a payment and 60 more types.
- 3Click Generate. Every code is verified on real decoders under real-world conditions before you see it.
- 4Scan it with your phone. Restyle it as often as you like: that’s free.
- 5Happy? Activate it with your plan or pay once for that code. It goes live straight away and you can download the print-ready file.
Why a short link sits inside
Picture codes are dynamic by default. The code holds a short link like aqr.li/4defCl, not your website address. That is what lets you change where it goes after printing, and count every scan without cookies.

Classic codes, landing pages and short links
- Classic codes are plain black-and-white codes with an editable link and analytics. They are free: see free codes.
- Landing pages are mobile pages the AI designs for you, at a short address your code opens. See the landing page builder.
- Short links are
aqr.lilinks with click stats, for anywhere you’d paste a long link. See short links.
