Dither QR code generator
Modules are drawn with a pixel-dither pattern, the stippled look of early computer graphics and newsprint. It gives the code texture and a retro-tech edge while the overall silhouette stays an honest square.

PNG is 2048 px for screens and print; SVG scales to any size. Free for personal and commercial use, no watermark.
Works well for
- Tech meetup and hackathon posters
- Record store and vinyl sleeves
- Developer conference lanyards
- Zine and print magazine pages
Printing tip
Fine pixel patterns can blur on soft prints, so choose sharp output, avoid shrinking below 2.5 cm (1 in) and scan a test copy first.
Static code: it never expires, but the link can't change after printing. Need edits or scan counts? Make a dynamic code.
Questions
Does the dither pattern hurt scanning?+
No. The pattern stays inside each module, the code uses the highest error correction level, and each design is tested with real QR code readers.
Should I use PNG or SVG?+
SVG keeps the pixels sharp at any size, so choose it for print. PNG is fine for web and slides.
Is it free for commercial work?+
Yes. Downloads are free for personal and commercial use with no watermark.
