What hosting you need
- Public https links that anyone can open without signing in. Google Drive and OneDrive share links show a web page, not the file, so they do not work.
- Android: one self-contained .glb (glTF 2.0, textures inside). Keep it small, ideally under 10 MB, so it loads on mobile data.
- iPhone and iPad: a .usdz file, opened in Safari. The server should send it as
model/vnd.usdz+zip. - For this page’s preview, the host must allow cross-site loading (CORS). GitHub raw links do; many website hosts can be set to.

The 3D QR code sculpture generator exports a GLB: host it and put it here, and people can place your scannable sculpture on their desk in AR. One code for both platforms needs a web page that picks the right viewer for each phone, such as Google’s open-source model-viewer.
Where to put it
- Product packaging and catalogs: see the item at full size in the room before buying.
- Museum and gallery labels, trade show booths and posters.
- Print "Android" and "iPhone" under each code, so people scan the right one.

AR로 모델을 보려면 앱이 필요한가요?+
대부분의 휴대폰에서는 필요 없어요. 안드로이드는 Google Scene Viewer를 여는데, 지원 기기에서는 AR용 Google Play 서비스에 포함되어 있어요. 아이폰과 아이패드는 Safari에서 AR Quick Look을 열어요. AR을 지원하지 않는 휴대폰에서는 대신 3D로 모델을 보여 줘요.
코드가 왜 두 개인가요?+
안드로이드와 아이폰은 서로 다른 뷰어와 파일 형식을 써요. Scene Viewer는 .glb를, AR Quick Look은 .usdz를 읽어요. 코드 하나로 둘 다 처리하려면 Google의 오픈소스 model-viewer로 만든 것처럼 휴대폰을 판별하는 웹 페이지가 필요해요.
모델은 어디에 올려야 하나요?+
파일 자체를 공개 https 링크로 제공하는 곳이면 어디든 돼요. 내 웹사이트, 스토리지 버킷, GitHub 등이에요. Google Drive와 OneDrive의 공유 링크는 파일이 아니라 웹 페이지를 열기 때문에 AR 뷰어가 불러올 수 없어요.
모델은 얼마나 커도 되나요?+
약 10MB 이하, 삼각형 수십만 개 이하로 하세요. 스캔할 때마다 파일 전체를 내려받고, 종종 모바일 데이터로 받기 때문이에요.
모델이 AriaQR에 업로드되나요?+
아니요. 코드에는 링크만 들어 있어요. 미리보기는 내 호스팅에서 이 브라우저 탭으로 모델을 바로 불러오고, 내 기기에서 고른 파일은 로컬에서만 읽어요.
나중에 모델을 바꿀 수 있나요?+
네, 같은 주소의 파일을 교체하면 돼요. 코드에는 모델이 아니라 링크가 들어 있기 때문이에요. 링크 자체를 바꾸거나 스캔 횟수를 세려면 동적 코드를 쓰세요.
