M is the usual choice. L gives a smaller chart; H survives the odd wrong stitch but needs more stitches.

DMC 310 Black: 324 stitches, about 3.5 m, 1 skein
Blank: bare white Aida, 765 squares

Full crosses with 2 strands on 14-count, 8 m skeins. Estimates include some waste; buy one spare skein of each.

Stitched area, quiet zone included. Cut the fabric about 3 in (7.5 cm) bigger on every side for the hoop and framing.

Keep the stitches dense and even and leave the white border clear: scanners need it. Scan the piece with your phone before you frame it, in good light. Glass can reflect, so test it framed too.

常見問題

十字繡的 QR Code 能掃描嗎？+

能，只要十字繡得密實均勻，白邊保持乾淨。用白底黑線，把布繃緊，裝框之前先用手機測試。工具會在你下載之前把圖紙重新讀取一遍來確認。

應該用幾格的布？+

哪種都行。14 格 Aida 是常見選擇，短連結繡出來約 2 到 2.5 英寸見方。11 格更大，也更不費眼；16 格與 18 格則做出更小、更精細的作品。

白色的格子也要繡嗎？+

不用。在白色 Aida 布上可以不繡，工作量不到一半。用白線繡滿，表面會更均勻，也能蓋住布的織紋。

需要多少繡線？+

工具會根據針數、布的格數與常用的股數估算，並留出一些損耗。14 格布上的短連結大約需要一綹黑線。DMC 的色號只是建議，任何黑色與白色的繡線都可以。

圖紙一頁放不下怎麼辦？+

大的 QR Code 會被拆分到每頁最多 40 × 50 針的多頁上。列號與欄號貫穿整張圖紙連續編號，第一頁有一張分頁示意圖。
