M is the usual choice. L gives a smaller chart; H survives the odd wrong stitch but needs more stitches.

The PDF has the key, the sizes and the chart: bold lines every 10 stitches, numbered rows and columns, arrows at the center.

DMC 310 Black: 324 stitches, about 3.5 m, 1 skein
Blank: bare white Aida, 765 squares

Full crosses with 2 strands on 14-count, 8 m skeins. Estimates include some waste; buy one spare skein of each.

Stitched area, quiet zone included. Cut the fabric about 3 in (7.5 cm) bigger on every side for the hoop and framing.

Keep the stitches dense and even and leave the white border clear: scanners need it. Scan the piece with your phone before you frame it, in good light. Glass can reflect, so test it framed too.

常见问题

十字绣的二维码能扫出来吗？+

能，只要十字绣得密实均匀，白边保持干净。用白底黑线，把布绷紧，装框之前先用手机测试。工具会在你下载之前把图纸重新读取一遍来确认。

应该用几格的布？+

哪种都行。14 格 Aida 是常见选择，短链接绣出来约 2 到 2.5 英寸见方。11 格更大，也更不费眼；16 格和 18 格则做出更小、更精细的作品。

白色的格子也要绣吗？+

不用。在白色 Aida 布上可以不绣，工作量不到一半。用白线绣满，表面会更均匀，也能盖住布的织纹。

需要多少绣线？+

工具会根据针数、布的格数和常用的股数估算，并留出一些损耗。14 格布上的短链接大约需要一绞黑线。DMC 的色号只是建议，任何黑色和白色的绣线都可以。

图纸一页放不下怎么办？+

大的二维码会被拆分到每页最多 40 × 50 针的多页上。行号和列号贯穿整张图纸连续编号，第一页有一张分页示意图。
